Miss Modd by Chelsea Andersen
I am super excited to have these in the shoppe. They just arrived this afternoon, and I can't wait to get my hands on these to make some dresses/skirts for my little girls. This is the first line of fabric designed by Chelsea Andersen of Henry Glass Fabrics. I have been a fan of Chelsea's from the time I laid my eyes on her wonderful patterns. You can check out Miss Modd fabric in the shoppe as well as Chelsea's patterns. The possibilities of creating are endless!
What will you be doing for April Fool's Day?
Image Poppies at Play
Wouldn't this be funny to see these signs marking every home on your street. If I had enough guts I think I would totally do this. I didn't realize that tomorrow was April Fool's Day. It totally snuck up on me this year. I have never been one to carry out jokes every year, but I know my kids would eat it up.

About Me
I have enjoyed sewing for quite some time. Well quite frankly, I just love to create things with beautiful materials, but my love for fabric started as a child. My mother made a fabulous quilt of Betsy Ross sewing the American Flag. I thought it was amazing and I was always impressed with her talent. It wasn't until college that I took a quilt making class and fell in love with quilting and fabrics. Recently I enjoy sewing clothing for my two girls. I knew that I had to share my passion for beautiful fabrics and fun and funky patterns with others. So I took a leap and started my own Etsy shop last summer. Come check us out and help spread the word.
